Our 2014 adventure takes us to California! How did we decide to go there? Well, our last post from our Canyon Adventure describes it. We gave up our seats on the way home, and got a travel voucher! So, to use it up completely, we had to go as far away from Florida as possible with Southwest, to get our money’s worth!
Betty has been hard at work, planning the itinerary, and booking hotels, balloon ride, Alcatraz tickets (2 way, not 1 way!), and a tour bus “hop on and off” for San Francisco. I not only have a terrific housemate, but I have a travel agent that is invaluable!
We “hit” a couple of “bumps in the road” in the last week or two. Betty started with a cough that we attributed to allergies. It kept up, along with nasal congestion, and thankfully has started antibiotics. Two days ago Nancy (me) broke out in hives! Never had them before, and I do NOT want them again! I am on some meds, and I THINK it is beginning to “recede” now. Still don’t know what set it off. But, God willing, we will be leaving Orlando on Tuesday, May 6 for the next adventure! We hope you will come along!
